Kyriel Butler, LMSW

Kyriel is a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) and Psychotherapist in the state of New York with over 6 years of experience in the field of social work and mental health. Kyriel received her Masters degree in social work from Fordham University in 2021. She has worked in a variety of different settings, assisting individuals experiencing trauma, grief, depression, anxiety, behavioral disorders and mental health diagnoses. Kyriel takes a person-centered psychotherapy approach specializing in behavioral therapies, mindfulness and somatic therapy, and IFS techniques. She works to promote an environment where each person feels safe, supported and validated in order to take control of the changes in their life. Kyriel fosters strong therapeutic relationships where she works to help clients connect with their authentic selves, build resilience, and helps to create an environment that strengthens each individual’s ability to cope with everyday life struggles. 

Kyriel’s services include evaluation and treatment of a variety of mental illnesses for adolescents, individuals and groups. 

Kyriel works primarily with clients who are experiencing life transitions, depression, anxiety, grief and loss, emotional dysregulation, trauma, loss of sense of self and relationship and family problems. All services are currently provided via telehealth at this time with each session being between 45-60 minutes depending on client’s needs.  Accepted insurances are currently Aetna, Oxford, United health Care and Emblem health.
